Capital's Hartford Heritage Project and UConn's Democracy & Dialogues Initiative, part of Dodd Human Rights Impact Programs, invite you to participate in Encounters: Democracy in Black. This community dialog will derive from Democracy in Black: How Race Still Enslaves the American Soul by Dr. Eddie Glaude Jr., this year’s Pennington Lecture speaker.
