Statistics

Numbers may not tell the whole story, but HHP attendance numbers are a major indicator of the success of place-based education at Capital.

Since we started recording attendance numbers in 2016, and excluding the two pandemic years when most Capital classes were online, the HHP has recorded more than 10,000 individual visits by members of Capital at our partner museums and performance venues. And this for a college of only several thousand students! We invite you to click on the photos below to experience our story by the numbers.

HHP is a CT State Capital program.

HHP is a place-based education initiative of CT State Capital that incorporates our community into the curriculum. Museums, historical societies, parks, community centers, care facilities, local businesses, government agencies, and other valuable local resources become an extension of our classroom.
