As Chair of the Capital Community College Foundation Board, I’m honored to serve as an Event Ambassador for Herencias Latina. I’d love for you to join me! 💜 📚 Herencias Latinas will feature an engaging conversation with acclaimed author Jaquira Díaz, author of Ordinary Girls. Her powerful writing explores family, identity, resilience, and growing up between Puerto Rico and Miami Beach. And there’s still plenty of time to read the book or listen to the audio book before we gather!
🎟️ Registration is FREE. We are simply asking attendees to consider making a donation to support the Capital Community College Foundation and our students. And truly, no amount is too small. Whether it’s $5, $25, or more, every gift adds up and helps us continue creating opportunities for Capital students.
