About Dead Girl's Quinceañera

It’s not just a party–it’s a puzzle. Dead Girl’s Quinceañera is a darkly hilarious take on true-crime obsession, teenage bravado, and what happens when girls decide to stop waiting for answers. Fueled by podcasts, procedurals, and unchecked confidence, three teens race to solve the mystery of their vanished friend by interrogating suspects, inventing theories, and roasting each other along the way. Making its collective world premiere this season, Dead Girl’s Quinceañera is directed by Melia Bensussen, who has been working closely with playwright Phanésia Pharel for over a year to bring this play to life. Set in present-day Miami, this fresh, funny, and impossible-to-forget new play will spark conversation long after the mystery is solved.
