Across the street from the Mark Twain House, HartBeat Ensemble offers audiences live performance and guided conversations. Located on the 3rd floor of the Hartford Public Library at 500 Main Street, the Hartford History Center is a great resource for research projects on Hartford topics and for class visits. TheaterWorks Hartford (TWH) produces high quality, contemporary theater and is committed to the power of storytelling in creating community. Founded in 1985, TWH has produced nearly 200 plays and presents approximately 150 performances per season.
