I either have a Knox Park community outreach representative come into the college to talk about gardening and events at Knox Park or during the summer, I have had students meet at Knox Park and we take a tour of the gardens and then we have an outdoor lecture.

Seeing food grow and learning about gardening and gardening classes at Knox Park serves to enable students to learn how to garden on their own and eat a healthier diet.

Knox Park is on a common bus route, so it is easy to meet there.

The students love getting out of the classroom or away from their computer.  They love visiting some place that is close by their home that they didn't know about.  They all enjoy walking around and seeing what Knox park is about and seeing the gardens and greenhouses.
