One Play

One Play is a partnership with Hartford Stage that enables Capital to bring theatre into the classroom and students into the theatre, across a variety of disciplines. Staff and Faculty are included, making this a campus-wide event!

We focus on one play in the Hartford Stage season in the fall semester, and another in the spring semester, and we bring the actors to campus for a Meet the Actors event.  Invite a friend or family member - go on a special date night - have fun with classmates and colleagues - be part of the conversation!

I truly enjoyed the stage production of Pride and Prejudice. I am planning on seeing it again. I loved the comedic and playful aspects of the play as well as the diverse cast. I can’t wait for the rest of Hartford Stage's seasons!
